Project Overview

The Work & The Why

Ndoto: For Africa’s Future is a nonprofit operating in the Obunga slums of Kisumu, Kenya, where they provide education and mentorship to underserved youth through a robust sponsorship program. Flying Donut Media partnered with Ndoto to completely rebuild their website with a focus on donor engagement, operational transparency, and long-term maintainability.

We designed and developed a fully responsive WordPress site featuring a custom WooCommerce-powered system that allows visitors to browse and sponsor students directly. The donation system supports both one-time and recurring gifts, and integrates with Salesforce to give sponsors secure access to real-time data about their student relationships—including letters, photos, and payment history. In addition, the site includes targeted content for users in Kenya, job listings, blog integration, newsletter signup, and custom forms—all backed by ongoing support and our Web Care Plan.

Project Highlights
  • Choose-a-child sponsorship cart via WooCommerce
