Origin
It started in a New Media class. The professor was live-demoing a 3D environment tool — mountains, trees, lava flows. Then, mid-sentence, completely casually: "Now let's add a flying donut above the mountain."
The room cracked up. I turned to a friend and said it. A few years later, I did it.
That moment stuck — not just because it was funny, but because it captured something I wanted to build: creative, unexpected, driven by curiosity and craft. A business that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously.

Hi, I'm Jason
I started Flying Donut Media to give small teams and non-profits a better way to handle the web — without the complexity, stress, or endless back-and-forth that usually comes with it.
I'm a designer and developer based in Texas, with a passion for clean builds, smart systems, and helping people feel genuinely confident about their digital presence. I've worked with organizations of all sizes, but my favorite projects are the ones where I can jump in, solve a real problem, and build something that's truly useful.
When I'm not knee-deep in WordPress or wiring up an automation workflow, I'm probably reading about ancient history, chasing my PB (personal best) on the lake, or trying to land the perfect brisket.
